Dodge picked up his Open Standard and Open Jumpers with Weaves titles this past weekend at the Nita Nee KC agility trial outside of State College. We were both a bit off on the first run of the day on Saturday (Jumpers) and missed Q'ing by one refusal but by the afternoon we were on and he ran a nice Standard course to finish that title (adding OA to his name). After talking to some friends I opted to move him to the next class, called Excellent, the following day just to see what he could do. On Sunday we found ourselves in the unique situation of having to run from one ring in to the other on short notice (happens when you are in two different levels). Now that was interesting! Two courses run in less than 5 minutes, whew! It worked for us, we Q'd in both classes! So add another set of initials to his name, OAJ! Oh yeah, and he garnered enough points to get hisVersatile Excellent from the Weim Club.
One more trial before we take a break from this game to go in to the obedience ring.
